Everything happens for a reason. There's always a reason behind every why, when, what, and how. Nothing just happens for the sake of happening. A reason has to be behind it all. Whether something is good or bad, there's always a reason.
You are also motivated by reasons when you do and say things. Maybe you want something to happen as a result, someone to think in a certain way, or someone to do something.
You will love someone because something pulled you to them. You will be kind to someone because you believe in kindness and doing good. You will say something mean to someone because they hurt you too.
Even when some things seem unexplainable on the surface, when you look deep down, you will find the reason why. And when something bad happens to you, don't be so blinded with sadness that you cannot see why it had to happen.
It happened to teach you something. Find the reason, and you'll be able to appreciate it happening to you no matter how bad it hurt you. Even people have their reasons for leaving us.
They could give all sorts of excuses like how it's not you but them. Or how they need to find themselves. But the reason is usually that they are not supposed to be a part of your future.
Find healthy reasons why things happened the way they happened and use them as climbing stones to a better tomorrow. Look at things from a more positive perspective.
Not everything is meant to be, and if you can find a good reason behind it, it will be easier for you to let go and move on. Our 'reason quotes' will give you the wisdom to understand the reasons why to courageously move on. ![You're trying to find it, aren't you? I'm sure that inside your heart… you’re trying with all you might to find it on your own… the reason you were born. Because… because really… there might not be anyone who was born with a reason. I think that everyone might have to find one on their own. [in her head] A reason for being born… A reason that it’s okay to be alive… A reason to exist. [aloud] I think everyone might have to find it themselves… and decide for themselves. It could be your dreams… your job… or a person. …The reason you’re looking for… might be vague, unclear… and uncertain. [in her head] And you might lose it. [aloud] But as long as you’re alive…you have to keep searching for that reason. I'm searching too. And if I can... If I can, I want to find my reason... In someone else.](/_img/width=300,height=300,fit=crop,quality=80,format=auto,onerror=redirect,metadata=none/wp-content/uploads/8632.jpeg)

![Indeed I do [have a girlfriend]. She’s super cute. I’m crazy about her. So I’m not interested in Honda-san in a romantic sense. She’s on my mind for a different reason. But it concerns more than just me, so I’d like to put off telling you for just a little longer. That okay?](/_img/width=300,height=300,fit=crop,quality=80,format=auto,onerror=redirect,metadata=none/wp-content/uploads/8848.jpeg)
