Knowledge is power and it can certainly take you places. Knowledge is not just something you are taught in school or what you read in books.
Although that's all part of it, knowledge is very wide. You can gain knowledge from anyone and anything. It's basically the state of knowing.
It could be about how something works, the way things are done, how someone acts like, etc. Being open to knowledge keeps you in the know of things you wouldn't normally know about.
Knowledge can also be measured but this heavily depends on the subject it's applying to. Just because someone is highly knowledgeable in a certain subject doesn't mean that they are generally wise.
It only means that they have considerable information on that subject. This usually applies in schools where knowledge is measured with tests. Each subject is measured independently and that means one's knowledge in a certain subject does not apply to a different subject.
Most times, to succeed in something, you need to have knowledge that others don't. That's one secret of success. It's how we have great scientists, neurosurgeons, engineers, professors, etc because they have particular knowledge that others lack.
Knowledge increases with years as you go through experiences and interact with different people. You can a lot from the things and people you encounter including vital life skills.
It's good to make an effort in knowing the things and people that really matter to you. Knowing them helps you understand them better and learn to live with them peacefully.
Be open to the people who love and accept you too. Let them know about you and what makes you tick. Having people who know who you really are but still love you wholly is amazing.
Here are our relatable quotes on knowledge and knowing. We hope they teach you a thing or two.

![Hatori: I’m surprised though… I assumed you would have known [Hiro’s situation] long before now… I thought Akito told you about anything concerning the family. Shigure: Apparently even I am only trusted so far… Let Akito scheme. When the dust settles, one of us will be sorry. But it won’t be me. Hatori: You’re a child. Shigure: Yes, I’m disgustingly, unrepentantly immature. Hatori: I worry what would happen eventually if Akito decides to take it out on Honda. Like Hiro did… Shigure: I have to say – we really are terrible at this…the whole love thing…when it comes to cherishing another person…we Sohma’s are lost..](/cdn-cgi/image/width=300,height=300,fit=crop,quality=80,format=auto,onerror=redirect,metadata=none/wp-content/uploads/8989.jpg)
