I saw her walk in out of the corner of my eye. Why do they say “corner of the eye”? Eyes have no corners.

I dream, I test my dreams against my beliefs, I dare to take risks, and I execute my vision to make those dreams come true.

Your purpose is why you you’re living, your vision is how you’re going to execute it.

What does the world look like through your eyes! You make me wonder.

When I think of you, I see your name with hearts floating in front of my eyes.

If you know what to do to reach your goal, it’s not a big enough goal.

I close my eyes and I see you in my thoughts. I fall asleep and I see you in my dreams.

Scripture tells us to envision that everyone shall sit under their own vine and fig tree and no one shall make them afraid. If we’re to live up to her own time, then victory won’t lie in the blade, but in all the bridges we’ve made. That is the promise to glade, the hill we climb if only we dare. It’s because being American is more than a pride we inherit. It’s the past we step into and how we repair it. We’ve seen a forest that would shatter our nation rather than share it. Would destroy our country if it meant delaying democracy. This effort very nearly succeeded.

I look into your eyes and see my own soul.

When I close my eyes I see you. When I open my eyes I miss you.

August — a new month, a new year. A chance to make that change you’ve been thinking about. What’s your big idea?

Start with the end in mind. If you want to be a millionaire, talk like one, act like one, work like one.

All of the great achievers of the past have been visionary figures; they were men and women who projected into the future. They thought of what could be, rather than what already was, and then they moved themselves into action, to bring these things into fruition.

Your purpose explains what you are doing with your life. Your vision explains how you are living your purpose. Your goals enable you to realize your vision.

You have two choices: You can come down from the mountain and spend the rest of your days thinking it was so beautiful there, or you can create a vision, look upward, see the next mountain, and start the climb all over again.

I live my life a quarter mile at a time. Nothing else matters: not the mortgage, not the store, not my team and all their bullshit. For those ten seconds or less, I’m free.

In my work, as a writer, I only photograph, in words, what I see.

The building of the true and beautiful means the destruction of the good enough. Rebirth means death. Once a truer, more beautiful vision is born inside us, life is in the direction of that vision. Holding on to what is no longer true enough is not safe; it’s the riskiest move because it is the certain death of everything that was meant to be. We are alive only to the degree to which we are willing to be annihilated. Our next life will always cost us this one. If we are truly alive, we are constantly losing who we just were, what we just built, what we just believed, what we just knew to be true.

Become a person of vision who can think in big terms, who can create definite plans and then carry these plans into action.

We often can’t see what God is doing in our lives, but God sees the whole picture and His plan for us clearly.

All paths are seen, through the prism of fate.

There is nothing like a sleepless couch for a clear vision of one’s environment.
