More can sometimes be better. It means greater than or additional to what is already there. So more love, more laughter, more sunshine, more happiness, more good food, more money, etc.
Sometimes more is always good. That's why we will always strive for more. We work to get more. We are grateful for what we have although we want to go to another level. A higher level where there is more.
But sometimes wanting more can bring about greed. Someone may want more of something just because they want it. Not because they need it or it's necessary, but to just feel good that they have it.
It could even be because they don't want someone else to get it. It can be anything like a promotion. They will strive to get more so that their competitor does not get it. If their motivation is the other person who needs it or deserves it not getting it, that is not right.
Your motivation to get more should at least be for good. It should be for your own good or the good of others, and not for bad intentions. Sometimes more can be bad.
Sometimes you could get more of what you don't want or didn't even expect. For example more sadness, more negativity from somewhere, more bad friends, more work with little pay, etc.
When something is more but we don't like it, then we wish we could have less of it. Sometimes we attract it ourselves. For instance, the more you think of lack, the more you lack and vice versa.
Try to control your thoughts and think more of what you want so that you can get more of it. Here are ‘more' quotes to motivate you to think and speak more of what you really want and less of what you don't.
