American author, novelist, and poet, Richelle E. Goodrich was born in 1968 in Odgen, Utah. In her early childhood, she was raised by her mother as her father served as an army sergeant in the Vietmam war.

Her younger brother was born shortly after her father left the war. The family moved to Washington State and her parents had two more daughters. As they grew up, Richelle shared her room with her sisters while her brother had his own room.

Richelle's parents were very supportive of her artistry. They enrolled her for ballet, tap dance, gymnastics, girl scouts, and piano lessons. Her mother would drive her from school to lessons and back home for years.

She would also create oil paintings while her father sketched cartoon characters for her and her siblings. This inspired her to pursue art while in high school and college. Richelle graduated her high school with honors and went on to work her way through college.

She attended Eastern Washington University where she got two degrees in Liberal studies and Math/Natural Sciences Education. During this whole time, she never had an interest in writing. It was only after she was married and with three boys when she began writing.

Since then, Richelle has self-published ten books. Her words have been quoted in publications like the Oxford Philosophy Being Human Course Book and Chicken Soup for the Soul. Here are the best of Richelle E. Goodrich quotes.

Don't ever give up. Don't ever give in. Don't ever stop trying. Don't ever sell out. And if you find yourself succumbing to one of the above for a brief moment, pick yourself up, brush yourself off, whisper a prayer, and start where you left off. But never, ever, ever give up.

The earth provides us a brand new beginning every twenty-four hours. It is a repeated invitation to breathe in the cool morning air and start afresh; to mimic the sunrise and brighten up while reaching once more for the sky; to carry a glad song in our heart like the early birds; and, as faithfully as the morning dew, to wash off the dust from yesterday.
