Napoleon Hill was an American author who was one of the first writers of the modern genre of self-help books. His popular work, Think and Grow Rich, is one of the best-selling books of all time.
Born in poverty, Hill became a reporter. He interviewed industrialist Andrew Carnegie who at the time was one of the richest in the world. Carnegie believed that the success formula could be used by the average person.
With that in mind, he commissioned Hill to interview over 500 successful people so as to discover and publish the formula. Hill went on to interview some of the most successful people of his time like Thomas Edison, Henry Ford, Theodore Roosevelt, etc.
